Kuleba's statement was broadcast on his social networks.

According to him, it will be an unacceptable result for the Ukrainian authorities if, at the summit in Vilnius, Kiev's allies "confirm the open door policy for the 130th time."

He also stated that possible proposals to Kiev "some positive things" to deepen cooperation with the alliance without steps towards Ukraine's membership in NATO are unacceptable.

"In Vilnius, NATO should take a step towards membership and resolve the issue of what will happen in terms of security guarantees for Ukraine between now and the moment when Ukraine becomes a member of NATO," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

Earlier, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev expressed the opinion that Ukraine is not needed by Western countries, nor Africa, nor Asia and Latin America.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated that the alliance has depleted stocks of shells for deliveries to Kyiv.
