"Squeezie, Gotaga and Brawks, leading influencers in their respective fields, have decided to join forces around a common project: an esports club," they explain on the website of their new club.

The three influencers had first published Thursday a video in the form of a trailer on their social networks before organizing a launch party broadcast Friday night on Twitch and YouTube.

"Squeezie", Lucas Hauchard, his real name is the biggest youtuber in France with some 18 million subscribers.

Corentin "Gotaga" Hussein and Kevin Georges, aka "Brawks" are former professional gamers and became known on the video game Call of Duty.

The latter two have already distinguished themselves in esport by participating in the creation in 2013 of Vitality, which has since become the main esport club in France and one of the largest in Europe.

"We parted ways with Vitality by mutual agreement and a few years later, we're here setting up our little structure," Gotaga said on Twitch.

"It was a dream," Brawks added. "To be able to ensure that young people like me can live their dream, mentor them and pass the torch to young people who want to live their passion."

"Gentlemates" already has a team working on Valorant, a shooting video game published by Riot Games.

Esports, a booming sector, refers to video game competitions. In recent years, several influencers have embarked on the discipline by creating their own team, like Kamel "Kameto" Kebir and Amine "Prime" Mekri with the "Karmine Corp" team or Toma "JL Tomy" with "Joblife".
