Russian security forces detained a Khabarovsk resident who transferred funds to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is reported by the Center for Public Relations of the FSB.

"The Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation suppressed the illegal activities of a resident of Khabarovsk involved in committing treason in the form of providing financial assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in activities against the security of the Russian Federation," the report said.

The FSB established that the suspect made transfers of personal funds for the purchase of weapons, ammunition and uniforms of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

A criminal case was initiated against the detainee under Art. 275 of the Criminal Code of Russia ("High treason"). He faces 12 to 20 years in prison.

Currently, investigative actions are being carried out aimed at consolidating evidence in this proceeding.

In addition, in the Sakhalin region, a Russian was detained who planned to leave for Ukraine in transit through the territory of a third country to participate in hostilities against Russian troops.
