This was announced by the Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Defense Andrei Kartapolov.

"The bill provides for the introduction of some changes in the procedure for notifying citizens. We propose to preserve the traditional methods of notification – through paper summonses, through the employer. An alert is also entered by registered mail. It is proposed to duplicate these subpoenas electronically. A person liable for military service can get them either through his personal account, or through the portal of the State Services, or in multifunctional centers," he said.

The system will be protected, it is being built on the basis of the already proven system of digitalization of public services, the deputy emphasized.

"A person liable for military service will go less to the military commissariat, a lot of operations will be carried out remotely, without the need for his personal presence, including the initial registration, deregistration and making changes to the credentials," Kartapolov said.

According to the deputy, in this way Russia promptly corrects those shortcomings in the system of military registration, which were revealed in 2022.

The new system is human-centered and minimizes the possibility of mistakes and the need for a person liable for military service to communicate with the military recruitment office, he said.

The bill will be considered on April 11.
