"At the moment, there is no shortage of medicines in the Russian Federation for international non-proprietary names (INN)," Roszdravnadzor said.

The department noted that currently in Russian pharmacies there are drugs with international non-proprietary names osteogenone and mesalazine in sufficient quantities.

It is specified that during the three months of this year in Russia, more than 58 thousand packages of osteogenone and 383.8 thousand packages of mesalazine were released into civil circulation.

At the end of March, the head of the Ministry of Health of Russia, Mikhail Murashko, said that more than 80% of drugs from the list of vital and essential drugs in the country are Russian-made drugs.
