The initiative will give children and young people a calmer school environment. It should benefit everyone, but not least those with neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPF), i.e. diagnoses such as ADHD and autism.

The idea is to review the physical environments in the classrooms such as furnishing, ventilation and lighting, but also support educators and staff with training.

The political majority in the city of Västerås consists of S, KD, V and C. In April, the municipal council will make a decision on the issue.
