So, on the first day, during the exercises, destroyers and frigates of the PLA Navy, landing groups, fighters, bombers, special purpose aircraft of the PLA Air Force, artillery brigades and missile troops were involved.

It is noted that the exercises around Taiwan by the Armed Forces of the PEOPLE's Republic of China will be held on April 8-10.

Earlier, the official representative of the Eastern Zone of the Combat Command of the People's Liberation Army of china, Shi Yi, said that the military exercises of the PRC Armed Forces around Taiwan are a warning to separatist and external forces, as well as a necessary measure to protect China's sovereignty.

On April 6, the Taiwanese edition of the Liberty Times reported that the aircraft carrier of the People's Liberation Army Navy of the People's Republic of China "Shandong" for the first time left the South China Sea and is now 370 km east of the southern part of Taiwan.
