A day after the information about leaked documents from the Pentagon, on Saturday there are reported to be more documents that have been leaked, writes the New York Times. Documents have been published on Twitter and Telegram, among others, about the actions of the US and NATO in Ukraine.

"It's difficult to assess. These are transcripts from what appears to be a daily breaf from the Joint Chief of Staff at the Pentagon. All in all, it seems more likely that these are real documents than that they would be completely falsified, says Lieutenant Colonel Joakim Paasikivi to SVT.

"We also know from Russian sources that they have tried to distort some documents with extremely poor photoshop, they have distorted the relationships between the fallen and injured on both sides.

"Frowning in the Pentagon"

It involves about a hundred documents containing a wide palette of information about, among other things, terrain conditions in Ukraine and, for example, the endurance of the air defense.

"These are detailed American assessments that are very useful information for Russia to find out. Some things about the numbers are strange, it seems that the Americans do not know but get information about knocked out combat vehicles from open sources. It is difficult to judge how accurate they are in the basic data, but there are probably some frowns in the Pentagon right now, says Joakim Paasikivi.

However, many of the documents appear to be from early March and thus contain old information.

Mykhaylo Podolyak, an adviser to Zelenskyy, dismissed the documents on Twitter, saying that Russian security services were behind the leak to confuse. The Justice Department and the Pentagon say they are investigating the leaks, CNN writes.

Hear about the damage the docuemt can do and the data circulating about disinformation.
