"A new batch of secret documents has appeared, which, apparently, describe in detail the secrets of American national security on the situation from Ukraine to the Middle East and China, which alarmed the Pentagon," the newspaper writes.
According to the newspaper, the scale of the leak may exceed more than 100 documents.
The documents, in particular, were found on Twitter and other sites.
It is specified that the documents include not only data on Ukraine, but confidential slides of briefings on China, the Indo-Pacific military theater, the Middle East and terrorism.
Privately, officials from several separate national security agencies told the NYT that there was a rush to find the source of the leaks.
Earlier it became known that the US Department of Defense is investigating the leak of secret materials in the social network, which describes the state of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the plans of the United States and the North Atlantic Alliance to strengthen the Ukrainian army.
The office of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky called the leak Photoshop.
As noted in the Kremlin, Moscow has no doubt about the direct or indirect involvement of NATO in the Ukrainian conflict.
