Units of Russian troops disrupted the counterattack of Ukrainian armed formations in the Krasnolimansky direction, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported.

"In the Krasnolimansky direction, artillery fire and heavy flamethrower systems of the Center group of troops disrupted the enemy's counterattack in the area of the village of Seversk of the Donetsk People's Republic, and also hit the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Nevske and Chervonaya Dibrova of the Luhansk People's Republic. More than 80 Ukrainian servicemen, an armored combat vehicle, two cars and a D-30 howitzer were destroyed," Lieutenant General Ihor Konashenkov, an official representative of the department, said during a briefing.

In turn, RT correspondent Murad Gazdiyev published a video with the participation of the crew of the T-72 tank, which destroyed a whole detachment of soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the forests in the Krasnolimansky direction.

"Initially, the task was different - to cover the evacuation of our wounded and suppress enemy fire. Having withstood the hit of an anti-tank grenade, the tank of the separate assault battalion "Ural" (CMD) methodically destroyed almost the entire structure and personnel of the enemy. According to the representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, in the Donetsk direction, as a result of the active actions of the units of the Yuzhnaya group of troops, operational-tactical aviation strikes and artillery fire, more than 410 Ukrainian servicemen and mercenaries were eliminated, two armored personnel carriers, one tank, four armored fighting vehicles, two cars and a D-30 howitzer were put out of action.

In the Kupyansk direction, the actions of five Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups in the LPR and the Kharkiv region were stopped. At the same time, strikes by operational-tactical and army aviation, artillery fire of the Zapadnaya group eliminated up to 40 Ukrainian servicemen, two armored combat vehicles and two pickup trucks.

In the South Donetsk and Zaporizhia directions, air strikes and artillery fire of the Vostok group of troops destroyed up to 30 Ukrainian servicemen, one armored car, two pickup trucks, as well as two ammunition depots of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The activities of three Ukrainian DRGs were also suppressed.

In the Kherson direction, during the fire defeat, up to 20 Ukrainian servicemen, two cars and a self-propelled howitzer "Acacia" were eliminated.

In addition, the command and observation posts of the battalions of the 110th Mechanized and 95th Airborne Brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were hit in the DPR. Also in the vicinity of the village of Selidovo, fighter aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces shot down a MiG-29 aircraft of the Air Force of Ukraine. Air defense systems intercepted 13 rockets of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system, one HARM anti-radar missile and 22 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles.

Zaporozhye region

The chairman of the movement "We are together with Russia" Vladimir Rogov on the radio "Komsomolskaya Pravda" suggested that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will begin a counteroffensive in the Zaporozhye direction with massive shelling.

According to him, the Ukrainian military is already trying to "probe the weak points" of the defense line in the Zaporozhye region, conducting reconnaissance by combat.
