Although the charges have not been made public, Joe Tacopina says he and the other lawyers know broadly what Donald Trump is accused of.

"A state attorney general is litigating a case alleging that campaign rules at the national level were violated — it's never been tried before," Tacopina said, describing the whole thing as very "mysterious."

According to other media outlets, the indictment is primarily about Trump's payments to actor Stormy Daniels, for her to be silent about a previous affair, being incorrectly recorded.

"Will be treated like others"

There has been speculation that Donald Trump will be handcuffed in the courtroom, but Tacopina dismisses that.

"He will be treated like everyone else, to a certain extent.

According to the lawyer, there are also no indications that Donald Trump would be gagged after the court hearings. The plan is for Trump to fly back to Mar-a-Lago in Florida to hold a press briefing later Tuesday night.
