First municipal movement in electoral key. Pepe Aniorte, head of the Area of Families, Equality and Social Welfare, leaves Ciudadanos. That was the gesture that the Popular Party was waiting for to be able to move and have the option of including him in the list that Martínez-Almeida presents on April 24. Everything indicates that the former councilor of Cs, who maintains a good relationship with the mayor, will be part of it.

Aniorte, a supporter of the center-right union, is totally in tune with the mayor and has never hidden that he would be delighted to be able to complete a second term to finish some of the projects in development. His area, always under the magnifying glass of the left, often thankless for the issues to be addressed, has surpassed with note the four years of government. And that can be a meeting point with Almeida. Something similar could happen with Ángel Niño, delegate of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Area, who has not yet made a move, but who could do so in the next few hours.

And, late in the afternoon, after weeks of rumors and winks, Aniorte shook the board. He did so hours after he appeared by video call in the extraordinary plenary session of the City Council for the management of Bicimad. On that same screen was Begoña Villacís, head of the orange party, who will now have to recompose her puzzle for the elections. Who knows if, given the rumors, he had not already made accounts with him.
