The transport sector is preparing for new disruptions this Thursday, April 6, on the occasion of the 11th day of mobilization against the pension reform. Thus, 20% of flights could be canceled at several airports, except Orly. If the RATP should only be slightly impacted, the SNCF anticipates some disruptions.

An 11th day of mobilization against the pension reform that will have repercussions on transport. First, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC) asks airlines to cancel 20% of their flights at several French airports in the regions on Thursday. These preventive cancellations, required almost daily for nearly three weeks, will affect 20% of flights to Marseille-Provence, Toulouse, Bordeaux and Nantes, due to the strike of air traffic controllers. The Paris airport of Orly, which was until now also targeted by requests for flight cancellations, is not concerned this time.

Some slight disturbances on the Paris metro

In the Paris region, traffic will be "almost normal" for the metro and RER in Paris on Thursday, RATP announced Tuesday. Only a few unspecified metro lines will experience slight disruptions. As for trams and buses, traffic will be normal "on the whole network". The mobilization clearly marks the pace at the RATP while the leaders of the eight main trade unions are to be received Wednesday at Matignon by Elisabeth Borne to try to find a way out of the crisis.
