A teenager under 15 years old was arrested Tuesday morning in Rosenau in the Haut-Rhin by investigators of the Directorate General of Internal Security (DGSI). He is suspected of being committed to the theses of the Islamic State group and of preparing "a violent action".

"He was determined to make explosives," it continued, stressing that the searches still in progress had already shown that he had made them. "The investigations will now have to establish if there was an associated action project and at what stage it was," it added.

The investigators intervened as part of a preliminary investigation opened by the national anti-terrorist prosecutor's office (PNAT) for "criminal terrorist criminal association", according to Le Parisien. The teenager was arrested at his home early Tuesday morning in Rosenau, a town of 2,400 inhabitants.
