A grand jury in New York, USA, found that former President Trump was charged with a total of 34 crimes related to falsification of business records. Trump has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Former President Trump, who was indicted for the first time in history as a former president of the United States, departed from the "Trump Tower" in the center of Manhattan, where he was staying, on the afternoon of the 4th and arrived at the courthouse in New York State.

Then, at around 5:3 a.m. on the <>th, Japan time, he pleaded guilty.

According to the indictment, Trump was charged with a total of 34 counts of falsifying business records.

And Trump has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Prosecutors had previously investigated the issue of hush money being paid to a actress who claimed to have had an affair with Trump.

The US media reported that when Mr. Trump's company reimbursed the lawyer for the hush money paid by the corporate lawyer, it may be falsifying the records by treating it as "attorney's fees", and Mr. Trump was charged with a number of crimes, including felonies.

On the other hand, Mr. Trump announced his candidacy for the presidential election to be held next year, and he indicated that he would fight the indictment across the board, calling it "the greatest political persecution in history and interference in the election."
