The Swedish comic book Fantomen dates back to the 1940s. And in the 70s it was a success when 170,000 copies were sold every two weeks and The Phantom had more readers than Expressen.
There have been countless adventures about "Mr. Walker" since then and often he fights alongside the mountain wolf Devil and the horse Hero. Now it's 2023 and Luleå author Jörgen Karlsson has written the script for the upcoming issue "In the shadow of horror".
"I want to show that The Phantom doesn't always have to be the center of attention for it to be a good series. Therefore, I have chosen to take the opponent's perspective, says Jörgen Karlsson to SVT.
