The parliamentarian wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
He specified that it is proposed to toughen the punishment under Art. 205 of the Criminal Code of Russia (terrorist attack), Art. 205.1 (assistance to terrorist activities), Art. 205.2 (public calls to carry out terrorist activities, public justification or propaganda of terrorism).
Also, the deputies intend to toughen the punishment under other criminal articles relating to terrorist activities.
"And, most importantly, we will propose to expand the list of compositions for which life imprisonment is provided," Piskaryov said.
Earlier, the Investigative Committee reported that the criminal case of the murder of military officer Vladlen Tatarsky as a result of an explosion in a cafe in St. Petersburg was reclassified as an article on a terrorist attack.
