He said that the US administration is monitoring the situation around Trump "as closely as possible."

Earlier, CNN, citing sources, reported that a grand jury in New York voted to indict Trump.
Later it became known that the Manhattan Prosecutor's Office contacted Trump's team of lawyers regarding the appearance of the politician in order to bring charges against him.
It was also reported that Trump will make a speech after the expected indictment in a New York court.
