Urdangarin returns from vacation to the scene of the scandal that landed him in jail

Yesterday Sunday the Monarch dined in the company of some friends at the famous Italian restaurant Sandro, located in the center of Palma, and as he usually does, he was photographed with the waiters and cooks of the premises, who uploaded the image to the networks. "Last night we had the honor of receiving King Don Felipe in our restaurant. It was a very special moment for our entire team and we are very grateful for their visit," they wrote. She wore casual clothes, khaki pants and black jacket and tasted a menu composed of shared starters based on rosemary focaccia, shrimp carpaccio and vitello tonnato, and second-place she ordered pasta cacio e pepe.

It is an express trip, because this Monday the Monarch has had an act in Zarzuela.

It is unknown if Don Felipe, Queen Letizia and their daughters will spend the Easter holidays in Marivent and attend the Resurrection Mass on Sunday in the cathedral, although it is practically ruled out, in addition such an act does not appear in the forecasts of the Royal Family. However, since Zarzuela considers it a private activity, there could be a last-minute surprise, although it is highly unlikely. Throughout Holy Week the only one of the family that has an official act is Queen Sofia, who this Monday night, April 3, will preside over the solidarity concert organized by Proyecto Hombre in the cathedral of Palma. Brahms' "A German Requiem" will be performed, by the Balearic Symphony Orchestra, together with the choir of the Illes Baleares University.

The Monarchs broke the tradition of attending the Resurrection Mass in Mallorca in 2020, because of the pandemic, and since then they have not recovered it. In Holy Week last year, already free of Covid restrictions, Don Felipe spent a few days in Marivent alone with his mother, as he has done this year. He later returned to Zarzuela to join his wife and daughters, as Leonor returned to Madrid on Holy Thursday from her boarding school in Wales to spend her spring break in Spain. On Good Friday, the Kings and their daughters attended the 70th birthday of Paloma Rocasolano, the mother of Doña Letizia, who celebrated at her daughter Telma's house in Soto de la Moraleja, and on Saturday, together with her daughters Leonor and Sofia, they visited the reception center for Ukrainian refugees in the Madrid town of Pozuelo de Alarcón.

Also this Thursday, April 6, Princess Leonor begins her Easter holidays at Atlantic College in Wales, where she is in her second year of high school, which will last until April 16.

It is unknown if the Monarchs and their daughters will be seen publicly this Easter at some event, as they did last year, as their vacation plans are usually top secret.
