"The Moscow government, as part of assistance to the military commissariat of the capital, has opened a hotline where everyone can ask questions about military service under a contract," the mayor of the Russian capital said in a statement on its website.
It is specified that by number 117 with questions can be addressed by all those interested in the possibilities of the service under the contract, payments, benefits and measures of social support for the military and their families.
The authorities also informed about the opening of a single selection point for military service, where both Muscovites and residents of other regions of Russia or foreigners can apply.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Russia determined the procedure for the admission of citizens to volunteer formations.
