The message she received from the bank was that it is only in special circumstances that the amortization may be paused. 

- And above all, the bank pointed out that high interest costs are not a basis for amortization relief.

Increased interest costs

In the reply she received from the bank, it says "Good to know is that increased interest costs, not according to the Financial Supervisory Authority, is a reason for granting amortization relief".

Eva Udéen therefore reacted strongly to the finance minister's statement.

- It does not seem as if those in power have information about this.

They suggest to people with high interest costs that they can get amortization freedom.
