It was on Sunday, March 5, shortly after 6 p.m., that the police were alerted to loud explosions in the west of Örebro.

A large area was cordoned off and shots were found to have been fired at a house.

Two men, aged 35 and 40, were arrested later that evening and detained overnight on Monday.

Both of them have now been detained at Örebro district court on probable grounds suspected of crime, the stronger degree of suspicion.

The older one is suspected of aiding and abetting attempted murder and the younger one of attempted murder, which he denies through his lawyer, whom the newspaper spoke to.

Both are also suspected of serious weapons offences.
