It was TV4 that was the first to tell about the big differences regarding waiting times in child and youth psychiatry.

The measurement with the gloomy figures for Sörmland was done by SKR, Sweden's municipalities and regions, and is valid for the month of January.

It shows that only nine percent, barely every ten children or young people, received a first visit to BUP in time.

According to operations manager Sofia Mossfeldt, Sörmland is an extra vulnerable county in terms of socio-economic factors, which in turn leads to a high search pressure - which culminated in the past autumn.
