What caused the outage or when the power can be restored to households in Habo is unclear.
At 6:40 p.m., some of Habo Energi's customers should have received power back.
Troubleshooting for the remaining customers is ongoing, the company reports.
- We have not identified the fault yet, but we have been able to ensure that more customers have electricity again.
Now there is an area in central Habo that is still without power, but we are working on fixing it, says Fredrik Ottosson, head of electricity networks and contracting at Habo Energi at around 8 p.m.
At the moment, there is no forecast for when all customers will be able to have power restored.
The supply of district heating is also affected by the power outage.
