Former US intelligence officer Ritter: Putin harshly responded to the West for trying to destroy Russia

Retired US Marine Corps intelligence officer Scott Ritter said so in an interview with The Dive with Jackson Hinkle YouTube channel.

According to him, Putin will be remembered as one of the greatest rulers in Russian history.

“He loves his homeland very much, he is proud of the victory in the Great Patriotic War,” he stressed.

Ritter added that the Russian leader "wants to create a new Russia in which all the shortcomings that existed in the Soviet Union will be eliminated."
