Vladimir Putin said that Russia again faced threats to security and sovereignty.

The President spoke about this on March 8 during the ceremony of presenting state awards on the occasion of International Women's Day.

“Now that Russia is once again faced with direct threats to its security and sovereignty, we see many examples of courage and determination, courage, readiness to stand up for the truth, protect people and the very future of our state - the future that we ourselves need,” the president said. .

At the same time, according to him, the best qualities of a person are always clearly manifested in times of challenges and trials.

The work of Western intelligence agencies against Russia

Earlier, Putin said that Western intelligence services have thrown additional personnel, technical and other resources against Russia, which requires Moscow to respond accordingly.

As the president emphasized during a meeting of the FSB board at the end of February 2023, it is necessary to protect significant information about control systems, military and law enforcement structures, defense industry enterprises and critical technologies.

In addition, the head of state also noted the readiness of the West to resort to using terrorists against Russia.

“We know that they never disdain to use both radicals and extremists in their interests, despite all the loud statements about the fight against international terrorism,” Putin said.

The President stressed that against the backdrop of the current situation, it is necessary to respond to emerging challenges using the entire arsenal of operational, analytical and other means.

NWO is necessary to ensure the security of Russia

In addition, earlier Putin noted that a battle is going on right now on the historical borders of Russia.

At the rally-concert "Glory to the Defenders of the Fatherland" in honor of the participants in the special military operation, which took place on February 22, the President stressed that the Russian military is fighting heroically.

The head of state also said that the entire country supports the NWO participants.

In this regard, he mentioned the medical workers who help the fighters recover, and also noted the contribution to the common cause of employees of defense enterprises and the transport sector.

The President spoke in detail about the situation during his address to the Federal Assembly on February 21.

He stated that the NWO began “to protect people in our historical lands”, to ensure the security of Russia, and also to eliminate the threat posed by the neo-Nazi regime that emerged in Ukraine after the coup in 2014.

As Putin noted, Moscow did everything possible to resolve the situation by peaceful means.

At the same time, the President noted, the promises of the representatives of the Western world about the desire to resolve the situation in the Donbass turned out to be a lie.

Putin continued by saying that the collective West was increasingly encouraging neo-Nazis to carry out terrorist activities in the Donbass, training officers of nationalist battalions and supplying weapons to Kyiv.

He recalled that Russia was open to dialogue with the West, insisting that the whole world needs an indivisible security system equal for all states.

The President stressed that Moscow sent draft security guarantee agreements to the United States and NATO at the end of 2021, but the fundamental positions of these documents were refused.

According to Putin, the threat grew every day, but Russia did not start a war, but only used force to stop it.

As the president noted, the West organized the anti-Russia project, within the framework of which centers of instability and conflicts are being created near the Russian borders.

As the president stressed, the responsibility for inciting the Ukrainian conflict, the escalation and the increase in the number of its victims lies entirely with the Western elites and the Kiev regime.
