While debates on pension reform are currently underway in the Senate, the government and the presidential majority are seeking to ease tensions until the last moment.

If the Minister of Labor tries to reassure the employees, the government also says to have heard the social protest.

On the political side of the pension reform, the government is coping as best it can with the challenge of the French which is going crescendo.

Tuesday, nearly 1.4 million people are expected in the streets across France during the sixth day of mobilization against the bill.

Since the beginning of the announcement of this reform, several misses have taken place within the State, as for the promise of minimum pensions at 1,200 euros.
