In Senegal, deputies, opposition leaders and unions are denouncing and calling on the government to react.

It is through an oral question addressed to the government of Senegal that the deputy Guy Marius Sagna said he was "
very concerned
" about the situation of black Africans in Tunisia.
This elected official from the opposition explains that “
some are expelled by their lessor, that drivers in transport refuse to let blacks get on the bus and that students refuse to join their establishment for fear of being attacked!
The deputy wonders what the government of Senegal is waiting for to summon the Tunisian ambassador to Dakar, in order to condemn this situation.
The opponent and former Prime Minister, Aminata Touré, calls in a tweet, all African presidents to condemn the words described as "
hate
" by the Tunisian president.

The CNTS, one of the largest trade union centers in Senegal, also denounced the arbitrary arrests of sub-Saharan migrants.
It calls for solidarity in defense of their rights.
On the government side, it is silent for the moment.
An information note from the Senegalese Embassy in Italy, dated February 23, just invites Senegalese travelers, in transit or passing through Tunisia, to declare the currencies kept by them and which must not exceed 1 500 euros, at the risk of having them confiscated.
