During Saturday, the Red Cross in Eskilstuna together with several churches and other voluntary organizations organized a demonstration against the war in Ukraine. - We must realize that if Ukraine falls, then Europe falls, said Solveig Lundström, chairman of the Red Cross in Eskilstuna, in her speech on the square.
Almost a hundred spectators braved the cold and bitter wind at Fristadstorget to show their support and help the Ukrainian people.
- There is no food, medicine, heat or a roof over your head and many cities are in ruins, says Solveig Lundström.
During the demonstration, music and speeches were offered while collecting money for the needy in Ukraine.
