Klinik34 is described as a successful beauty clinic with many positive reviews.
But also warnings in social media and a series of critical Ivo reports.
SVT has previously reviewed the clinic and talked to women who tell about how their bodies were destroyed after procedures performed at the clinic.
- My children can barely see me because I don't want them to see this, said one of the women.
Since 2018, Ivo has been reviewing the founder's professional practice.
“Used a dangerous amount of fat”
In the Ivo investigation, which SVT has seen, it is stated that the clinic founder is criticized on five points.
One of the points concerns the doctor's failure to carry out individual risk assessments before aesthetic surgical procedures.
As an example, Ivo lifts the handling of so-called Brazilian butt lifts.
The procedure involves enlarging or changing the shape of the buttocks by moving fat from other parts of the body.
According to Ivo, the surgeon has used a very large amount of fat on at least 20 occasions.
Ivo writes in the investigation that the normal amount of fat to be redistributed in these procedures is between 200 and 400 milliliters, and that the risk of complications is already increased at 500 milliliters.
On about 20 occasions, the surgeon has redistributed amounts in the range of 600 milliliters - 1,500 milliliters.
"Based on what is recommended scientifically, IVO believes that the volumes of fat that the surgeon has transplanted in some patients are very large.
The person's intervention has thus entailed a considerable risk of fatty tissue necrosis, which also poses a risk of subsequent infection," writes Ivo in the decision.
Dismisses the criticism
The surgeon himself dismisses several parts of Ivo's criticism and believes that the authority bases its decisions on factual errors and nonsense.
- During the course of the case, clear knowledge gaps in the field of aesthetic surgery have emerged on the part of Ivo.
Ivo's decision shows factual errors, lack of knowledge, carelessness and it is colored by the personal agendas of the rapporteur's experts.
The criticism is not adequate and is not grounded in science and proven experience.
- That an authority allows the agendas of individuals to pervade such an important matter as this is to me deeply remarkable.
Despite the criticism from Ivo, the authority does not consider that such shortcomings have emerged in the surgeon's professional practice that there is reason to make a report to the Health and Medical Service's responsibility board.

Klinik34 has received criticism from both patients, doctors and IVO.
But now the police and prosecutors are investigating whether the clinic and its surgeon may have been subjected to defamation.
