This was stated by the head of the French Ministry of Defense Sebastian Lecornu in an interview with Parisien.

“Personnel training is almost completed.

These tanks will be delivered at the end of next week,” the minister said.

Lecornu did not specify the number of tanks to be delivered to the Ukrainian side.

He did not rule out that France, like the UK, would start training Ukrainian pilots.

Earlier, The Times reported that Ukraine would receive less than a quarter of the total number of tanks promised by the West by early April.

The head of the British Ministry of Defense, Ben Wallace, in an interview with Der Spiegel, said that Europe did not have serviceable tanks for transfer to Ukraine.
