Local media and witnesses reported that a gunman opened fire in a small town in the US state of Mississippi on Friday;
As a result, 6 people were killed in 4 places, before he was arrested.
Police said a man currently in custody shot and killed a person in a store in the small town of Arcapotla, in the north of the state, before he went to a nearby house and also killed a woman inside.
Police officials added that the perpetrator then drove his car to another house, believed to be his residence, where he killed two other people with gunshots.
Later, the police chased the shooter, who took refuge in another house, where he was arrested, and the "Rig" channel indicated that the bodies of two other people were found at this site.
