“Since February 6, 2023, 47 people have been rescued from the rubble, medical assistance has been provided to 256 Syrian citizens, distribution of 45.9 tons of humanitarian aid to those in need has been organized – food kits and essentials,” Yegorov said.
It is specified that the Russian military continues to take part in the aftermath of the earthquake in the provinces of Aleppo, Latakia and Hama.
Earlier, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad thanked Russia and its people for their support in connection with the earthquake.
