It was last week that Iran's supreme spiritual leader announced that those arrested after protests critical of the regime will receive amnesty or shorter sentences.
A move met with disbelief.
One who has been released though is Armita Abbasi.
She was arrested on October 10, accused of being a leader in the protests that erupted after the death of Mahsa Jina Amini the month before.
- I want to thank you all for standing by my side all the days I haven't been here, says Armita Abbasi.
