During Friday, Uppsala University's promotion of doctors and honorary doctors takes place.
As early as seven in the morning, cannons were fired at the castle, something that was heard all over Uppsala.
At eight o'clock there was then bell ringing in the cathedral.
Professor Agnes Wold
A total of 24 honorary doctors are appointed.
Among them is Agnes Wold, who is professor of clinical bacteriology at Sahlgrenska Academy at the University of Gothenburg and chief physician at Sahlgrenska University Hospital.
She is one of the nine new honorary doctors at the Faculty of Science and Technology.
