769 attacks on doctors registered, most of them female Primary Care doctors, in 2023. Of all attacks, 94% occur during work hours and environments.

In 51% of the cases there were threats and coercion, mostly against women. Only 40% of attacks are reported, but only 308 have been reported, which means 40% out of total, there are more attacks that occur in schools. "Assaults are included in the salary," says the coordinator of the Observatory, José Mª Rodríguez.
