Psychiatric care facilities are closing: "Faced with a tough situation"

From the first of February, Region Sörmland stops a large part of the hired staff.

The goal is to employ own, permanent staff so that the care places can reopen.

A recruitment drive has been launched for the posts at the psychiatric clinic, but how long it will take is a question to which there is currently no answer.

- We are facing a tough situation, a transition, says Cecilia Casparsson Bengtsson, director of operations at the psychiatric clinic at Nyköping Hospital.
