Faced with the pension reform, the unions do not want to bend.

In several sectors of activity, the French are already beginning to prepare for the day of general mobilization on January 19.

In Trappes, Force Ouvrière teachers met to say no to this reform.

The unions wasted no time in mobilizing after the presentation of the pension reform by Prime Minister Élisabeth Borne on Tuesday.

A day of demonstration is already planned for January 19th.

Until then, the French hostile to this government project are already ready to share their dissatisfaction.

In the education sector, for example, some unionized teachers are already calling on their colleagues.

In Trappes, in the Yvelines, Force Ouvrière organized a meeting on Wednesday morning.

Twenty teachers gathered, sitting on their students' chairs in a classroom, to prepare for January 19.

"I want a little more respect"

Around the table, Cécile, professor and FO union delegate, presents the program for the mobilization day.

"In the morning, there will be general assemblies and then in the afternoon, the demonstration. And if we have not obtained what we want, we hope to be able to renew the next day and the following days, until may we win the case," she said.

"Me, I think it's the straw that broke the camel's back and enough is enough."

His colleague, Patricia, also hopes that January 19 will mark the beginning of a longer-term mobilization.

"On the 19th I will be in the streets demonstrating and I hope also for the 20th and the days that follow."

For the teacher, there is no question of flinching in the face of a government that lacks respect for the French.

"I want to get into the hard stuff. It's really time to get serious about it. I'm tired of being laughed at, I want a little more respect and respect starts with an increase in salary and let us retire in good health."

To mobilize as many people as possible, these trade unionists will continue to lead information meetings almost every day and throughout the department, until the Thursday of general mobilization.
