The reporter learned from the National Railway Group that in 2022, the national railway will complete the delivery of 3.9 billion tons of goods, a year-on-year increase of 4.7%.
Among them, thermal coal was 1.49 billion tons, a year-on-year increase of 13%.
Adhere to "protecting epidemic prevention, ensuring stability, quick response, and controlling expenditure", and effectively coordinate epidemic prevention and control and passenger transportation organization. In 2022, the national railway will complete passenger transportation of 1.61 billion person-times.
In 2022, 16,000 China-Europe freight trains will be launched and 1.6 million TEUs will be delivered, a year-on-year increase of 9% and 10% respectively; the western land-sea new channel trains will send 756,000 TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 18.5%.
On the first anniversary of the opening and operation of the China-Laos Railway, a total of 8.5 million passengers have been transported, 11.2 million tons of goods have been transported, 3,000 cross-border freight trains have been operated, and the value of cross-border transportation has exceeded 13 billion yuan.
In 2023, the national railway is expected to complete 2.69 billion passenger trips, a year-on-year increase of 67.6%; the cargo delivery volume is 3.97 billion tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.8%.
