Gerus noted that now the authorities have to decide how they will be acquired - at their own expense or with financial assistance from Kyiv's Western partners.

He admitted that the first power plants could be installed in Ukraine in the next two months.

Earlier, the Ukrainian energy company Ukrenergo said that one of the country's power plants stopped its work due to equipment damage.
