Rainfall degradation over the extreme south-west

A veil of cloud will cover the south in the morning.

During the afternoon, a mild and rainy degradation will approach the extreme South-West of the country, then progress in the evening and first part of the night to reach the South of the Massif Central and the Mediterranean rim.

When the disturbance arrives, snow and slippery phenomena are expected in particular in the south of the Massif Central.

They will shift to the South-East quarter with always a risk of snow or ice.

The rain will also reach Corsica overnight.

The night will still be freezing, the temperatures will drop to -9 to -5 degrees in Grand Est, Centre-Val de Loire, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Limousin and even less on the reliefs.

The afternoon temperatures will be between 1 and 5 degrees on the northern half, as well as in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.

They will be up by the South-West, with 4 to 7 degrees in New Aquitaine, Occitanie and PACA, 12 degrees on the Côte d'Azur and up to 15 degrees in the Basque Country and Corsica.
