The Russian leader also recalled the energy crisis in Moldova.

“However, under these conditions, it is not clear why part of the gas, as they say - their own, Moldovan gas received from us, is stored on the territory of Ukraine,” Putin said.

He stressed that he asked the Ministry of Energy to look at this situation more carefully.

Earlier, Gazprom reported that it had recorded gas settling in Ukraine, intended for supplies under a contract with Moldovagaz.

Deputy Prime Minister of Moldova Andrei Spinu said that the volumes of gas that remain on the territory of Ukraine are Moldovan reserves.
