“Russia respects the sovereignty of Hungary, believes that this sovereign state decides issues of its domestic and foreign policy on its own,” Zakharova said during a briefing.
She added that respect for the sovereignty of other states is the main difference between Russia and Western countries.
Earlier, Finnish Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto said that Hungary intends to ratify the agreement on membership of Finland and Sweden in the North Atlantic Alliance in early February 2023.
