“Under Secretary Nuland will reaffirm the US commitment to the founding principles of the OSCE—advancing security, prosperity, human rights, and territorial integrity,” the State Department said in a statement.

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that Poland's decision to refuse Sergei Lavrov to participate in the OSCE Ministerial Council on December 1-2 is unprecedented and provocative.

Deputy Foreign Minister of Poland Pavel Yablonsky noted that Russia should be as isolated as possible on all international platforms.

The Foreign Ministers of the CSTO member countries adopted a joint statement in which they expressed categorical disagreement with the decision of the Polish side.
