His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, affirmed that Martyr's Day is the most prominent title that reflects the scene of cohesion and solidarity among all members of society in the United Arab Emirates, and it is the beacon that generations follow to consolidate and enhance national achievements.

His Highness added, in a speech addressed to the “Dir’ al-Watan” magazine, on the occasion of “Martyr’s Day”, which falls on the thirtieth of November of each year: “The martyrs of the homeland raised their heads and heads high, wrote the greatest epics of heroism, and presented the most beautiful examples in giving their lives and blood as a sacrifice for pride and dignity and in order to preserve Homeland security and stability.

His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla indicated that the memory of the nation's martyrs will remain immortal in our minds and hearts. We draw inspiration from their sacrifices, lessons of giving and patriotism. His Highness explained that on this day we all express our appreciation for the exploits of our martyrs who gave their lives in defense and protection of the homeland.

And His Highness continued: “On this day, which is dear to all of our hearts, we stand in tribute and honor to the sacrifices of our righteous martyrs, and we raise the highest verses of appreciation to their mothers and families, and we pray to God Almighty to preserve our wise leadership, support our soldiers and prove their feet, and to protect our dear homeland from all evil, and to perpetuate us.” The blessing of safety and security.

And His Highness said: "May God have mercy on the martyrs of the Emirates and dwell them in His spacious gardens with the prophets and the righteous, and good companions for those."
