Kvinnojouren Marie, which targets Vansbro, Leksand and Gagnef, started the week with an open house in Vansbro on Monday evening.

They stand out because, as a non-profit organization, they have a hotline that is open 24 hours a day, all year round.

- It can be strange that we need to exist at all.

But the pressure on women's emergency rooms is increasing, and it doesn't look like it will get any better, says chairwoman Monica Ericsson.
