SVT has visited Sveavägen in Stockholm, where the world's largest fast fashion chain has placed its temporary store.

With Tiktok as the locomotive, Chinese Shein is challenging other traditional fashion giants.

- It feels a little wrong of me to shop there, but if other shops had equally nice trendy clothes, I would have gone there, says 18-year-old Milosz.

Audit showed difficult working conditions

Shein has repeatedly received criticism for the working conditions at the company's factories.

According to an investigation by British Channel 4, employees work up to 18 hours a day, seven days a week and for 38 öre per garment that they produce themselves.

After the review, Shein issued a press release promising to investigate the circumstances.

“We are extremely concerned by the claims made by Channel 4, which would breach the code of conduct endorsed by all Shein suppliers.

Any non-compliance with this code is dealt with swiftly, and we will terminate partnerships that do not meet our standards.”
