Another critic is Lidingö municipal councilor Daniel Källenfors (M), who believes that the six billion in general state grants to the municipalities should have been zero.

- The municipal sector has a lot of money, taxes are high, revenues are large.

The municipalities should work with efficiency instead of requesting more money from the state, he says.

Inflation and high electricity prices should, according to him, be seen as an opportunity to work even more with efficiency.

In addition, he says that today's tax equalization system means that all municipalities today have the same conditions.

- Lidingö does not have more money than Botkyrka or Malmö.

“Very unhealthy”

Daniel Källenfors believes that the government now still gives the municipalities this money is the successful work of Sweden's municipalities and regions (SKR), which he calls a lobby organization.

- We also have direct channels with politicians both within the government and the Riksdag.

And this is very unhealthy.

MUF's chair Matilda Ekeblad is also critical of the budget.

She writes on Twitter that she misses the promised paradigm shift:

"No tax cuts for those who work.

No tax cuts for those who save.

And no tax cuts for those who create jobs - the entrepreneurs," she writes.

SVT has contacted Finance Minister Elisabeth Svantesson (M), who did not respond to the criticism.
