BI: Russia's position was supported by influential Western politicians and businessmen

Businessman Elon Musk, former US President Donald Trump, Fox News host Tucker Carlson, former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and former German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder are among those who supported Russia's position on the world stage.

Earlier, Elon Musk attracted the attention of journalists with his statements about the settlement of the situation around Ukraine.

Thus, the situation around the Ukrainian crisis, he believes, should be resolved by retaining Crimea as part of Russia, “as it was from 1783 until Khrushchev’s mistake,” and in the regions recently annexed to the Russian Federation, referendums should be held again under the supervision of the UN.

Musk also noted that people living in eastern Ukraine prefer Russia.
