Egyptian singer Sherine Abdel Wahab has returned to occupy public opinion again after a leaked audio message she sent to her lawyer asking him to remove her from the addiction treatment clinic in which she is staying.
On his official Facebook page, Legal Adviser Yasser Kantoush published Sherine Abdel Wahab's message to him, demanding that she be released from the hospital after she completed her treatment within 20 days, and said that she had signed papers that she knew nothing about.
Yasser commented on the message that he published it at the request of Sherine Abdel Wahab, and that the National Council for Mental Health issued a report that her condition did not require compulsory treatment inside the hospital.
This is the second time that Sherine Abdel Wahab has expressed her desire to leave the sanitarium, as she also sought the help of her lawyer nearly 3 weeks ago and after her family forced her to enter the sanitarium, where her lawyer filed a complaint against her brother accusing him of beating her and forcing Shirin to enter the sanitarium.
Which prompted her family to reveal her health condition in a telephone interview with the "Al-Hekaya" program, presented by the media presenter Amr Adib, where her family demanded that Hossam Habib and producer Sarah Al-Tabbakh be removed from her, and they revealed Sherine's health condition and that she expelled her mother and daughters because she was not conscious.
Sherine Abdel Wahab underwent treatment over the past few weeks, and refused to eat for long days, before her health began to gradually improve under the supervision of doctors in the clinic where she stayed.
Her brother Muhammad, with the beginning of her health crisis and her admission to the sanatorium, postponed all her artistic engagements, as he postponed her new album, despite the fact that she had finished putting her voice on all his songs for a while, and also postponed a concert she had contracted in Kuwait in order to focus on her health condition.

After the announcement of Sherine's health condition and the disclosure of her addiction, a number of artists were keen to show solidarity with her in her crisis, and the Egyptian actress, Laila Elwi, commented, "Your family is our family and your daughters are above our head."
